It is undeniable our planet is under stress, from record-breaking heat, rainfall, to stronger storms and hurricanes. We’re seeing extremes in every category.

We must ask ourselves what does 20 years look like from now? A Chinese Proverb I love states: “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.” It’s up to us to do everything we can to ensure future generations benefit from things we can prevent today. We can start by using far less one-time use products. Eliminating plastic bags, straws, and other products that end up in our oceans and streams, continuing recycling initiatives, and planting more trees.

The Oak Vessel is a mission to find a tribe of people committed to giving back to our earth. Trees give us oxygen, store carbon, stabilize the soil, and give life to the world's wildlife. Purchase The Oak Vessel for yourself, or give it a friend, child, spouse, or co-worker. You will be inspired by life lessons by simply watching this amazing transformation take place. Trees teach us to establish deep roots, to accept change, be uniquely ourselves, and to reach for the sky. You will also have a stunning tree that will bring life to your home or office.

I’d love to hear from you regarding any questions or comments you have. You can reach me at nate@theoakvessel.com.

“The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to sit.”
